CARRIE BLODGETT VICE PRESIDENT, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Carrie was bitten by the startup bug early. After completing her undergraduate degree in the Pacific Northwest, she joined the early-stage startup team at &pizza in Washington DC, where she helped to build the preeminent fast-casual pizza restaurant on the East Coast. While wearing many hats, she built the HR information systems that took the company to scale. Next, she moved to Singapore to consult for the nation’s first social-impact, tech-startup accelerator. She served as an advisor for early-stage, prototyping startups and built out the operating structure for the incubator. Prior to her MBA, she joined the Operations team at Fin, a beta AI companion app based in San Francisco. At Fin, she developed and refined the app by interfacing with customers and collaborating with engineers. Given Carrie’s diverse background, she brings a unique perspective and voracious curiosity for different industries. She loves to travel, having been to 30 countries, and experiencing the outdoors, particularly enjoying recent hiking treks through New Zealand and Norway.
