Challenge for Charity (C4C) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that draws on the talents, energy, and resources of MBA students from 8 West Coast business schools to support Special Olympics, Boys and Girls Clubs, and other family-related local charities. The purpose of the organization is to develop business leaders with a lifelong commitment to community involvement and social responsibility.
The 2018-2019 MBA Challenge for Charity enters its 35th year in which top West Coast MBA programs compete in fundraising, volunteering, and athletic events in pursuit of the coveted Golden Briefcase.

Sports Weekend (April 12-13, 2019)
C4C Weekend is the culmination of a year’s worth of volunteering and fundraising efforts for our partner charities – Special Olympics Washington, the Boys and Girls Club of King Country, and the University Food Bank. 9 West Coast MBA programs gather at Stanford each April to compete for the Golden Briefcase. This coveted award goes to the school that achieves the highest score in the following categories:
Most hours volunteered (per-capita)
Most funds raised (per-capita)
Best all-around performance at C4C sports weeken
The annual Challenge For Charity Auction is our biggest fundraising event at Foster. All proceeds go to the Special Olympics Washington, and Boys and Girls Clubs of King County. In 2017, we raised over $120,000 for these charities. This is possible only because of the generous support from you—our donors, sponsors, and volunteers.
The 28th Annual Challenge for Charity Auction will take place at the Hall at Fauntleroy on February 9, 2019.

The Foster MBA Challenge for Charity presented the 7th Annual* Foster 5K on Sunday, October 21st. This 5K toured the beautiful University of Washington Seattle campus. All proceeds go to Boys & Girls Club of King County and Special Olympics of Washington.
