WON BAE, CO-PRESIDENT Won majored in Urban Studies & Planning at UCSD and decided to teach English in South Korea for 3 years. Upon returning to the US, he became an environmental compliance instructor where he led the waste management training for the majority of Fortune 500 companies. He pivoted into sales at a SaaS startup and realized that he needed a background in business to make a greater impact in the workplace. Won will be spending the summer at Samsung Electronics America in New York on the Digital Care team where he will be in charge of rolling out new digital customer support channels for all of Samsung’s electronic products.

TAMI GEIGER, CO-PRESIDENT Tami spent her pre-MBA career as a project manager across multiple sectors – government, private equity finance and technology. While working for a software development agency, she fell in love with technology and decided to pursue an MBA with the goal of moving into corporate strategy for a technology organization. This summer, she will be a Marketing Communications intern at Microsoft on the Cybersecurity team. Tami has a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies and Planning from UCSD (yes, just like Won!).
