The Foster Operations Club (FOC) empowers MBA students to connect students with industry leaders, offer recruiting support, and cultivate strong alumni engagement. Our members have secured roles in Amazon’s Leadership Programs, Apple Strategy roles and other big tech, with success across both Full-Time and Evening MBA cohorts.

Himani brings almost a decade of experience building end-to-end products and driving cross-functional strategy, first as a software engineer across regulated healthcare environments, and later as a co-founder of an edtech startup she scaled to 1,500+ learners in under a year. At Foster, she is deepening her expertise in product leadership and strategic business development to bridge specialized research and commercial impact. Outside of work, Himani enjoys spending time in nature.
Reshmi Satish Tirupuranthakam

Reshmi has 5+ years of experience in data analytics, service operations, and marketing within the automotive industry. Prior to business school, she worked at Hyundai Motor India, where she led customer retention and digital transformation initiatives, including CRM implementation and data-driven marketing strategies. At Foster, she is focused on exploring the intersection of technology, marketing, and operations, with an interest in building scalable, customer-centric solutions. She is passionate about leveraging data to drive business decisions. In her free time, she enjoys running, exploring new food spots, and spending time outdoors.
Joely Manning

Joely is a former Army logistics officer with eight years of experience leading complex operations across Europe, Africa, and the Pacific. Her background includes managing global transportation networks, coordinating cross-functional logistics operations, and leading teams in high-pressure environments where supply chain execution directly impacted mission success. As President of the Supply Chain, Operations, and Logistics Club, she is passionate about building a stronger community for students interested in operations, logistics, transportation, and global supply chain leadership. Outside of school, she spends her time with her golden retriever Gilbert outdoors!
Echo Zhang

Echo has 8 years of global experience in supply chain and operations across apparel, e-commerce, and technology. Before business school, she worked at UNIQLO, Apple, and SHEIN, where she led cross-functional teams and global supplier networks to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and drive data-driven decision-making. Her experience spans traditional retail and fast fashion e-commerce, giving her a holistic view of how strategy, technology, and execution intersect in global operations.She’s passionate about leveraging data and analytics to optimize business decisions and create sustainable value.
Dan Kwon

Dan is a former Army Signal Officer with seven years of experience leading complex IT and operations initiatives across the Asia-Pacific. He has led the delivery and scaling of mobile infrastructure across multiple countries and managed cross-functional teams in high-pressure environments where execution directly impacted mission outcomes. As an MBA candidate at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business and an active leader in the operations and supply chain community, he is focused on developing practical, execution-driven leaders in operations, technology, and logistics. Outside of school, he enjoys staying active and spending time with his border collie, Linus.
Michelle Kahue

Michelle has 4 years of experience in the aerospace industry, where she worked in supply chain and procurement supporting complex, fast-paced manufacturing operations. Before business school, she managed contracts and supplier relationships while working cross-functionally to keep programs on track. Outside of school, Michelle enjoys staying active, traveling to new places, and trying new restaurants.
